Approaching the end of the darkness asks you to prepare for a new cycle. Some stuff has to be looked at, thrown out. In order for new things to grow, and pull you into another life phase. In this ritual workshop we set up for doing just that. First we die, let go of our old bodies and selves and look back over the previous cycle(s). Then we come back to life, in a ritual of light and vibration.

The two main rituals (of dying and renewal) will be supported by an intense tantra and shadow work practice. Through energetic meditation, voice work, movement kriya’s and psychomagic work, we take a look at what is there: what is festering, what is yearning to break out, what is keeping you, what is enabling you…

This workshop is for everybody that wants to make a new step in their lives, go through a personal transformation, or simply connect to themselves and the world with more intensity. No experience needed, but come with an open mind…

Venue: Studio La Limite, rue de la Limite 93, 1210 Brussels (close to North Station and metro Madou or Botanique)

Price: 220 euro, 160 for students and unemployed

Times: Friday 18h to Sunday 17h

Reservations: studiolalimite@gmail.com

This workshop is facilitated by Elle and Stijn.

About 2 years ago they started up The Monastery: an experimental living and practice community, open to all colours of spiritual work.

Elle is an experienced Tantrika. She was an art critic, artistic researcher and dramaturg, before she decided to devote her life completely to her spiritual practice. As a Tantric she studied with different teachers and at the Rasayana Tantra University, and found an inspiring and powerful teacher in shaman-tantrik Anand Rudra, who is a regular guest at Studio La Limite. She develops a line of deeply experienced practices that focus mostly on creating a mystical relation to what lies beyound our limits of (self-)understanding and expansion. With The Monastery Elle explores ritual work in unexpected places.

Stijn is a psychologist and Shadow Work facilitator. After a brief scientific career, he became attracted to experiential and mystical insights that science has difficulty grasping. Through practices of radical self-exploration he investigates if accepting and embodying one’s shadows leads to more presence and vitality. He followed several facilitator-trainings in shadow work, which he now combines with his spiritual practice, including kashmir yoga, shaivist tantra, sufism and christian mystic practices.
